Hello, my name is Evan Verburg
You may already know me as Kitchen Vulture
I love food because nothing beats a good meal with friends.
If I were a three word sentence I would be: that will heal.
My favorite food/meal right now is: Tourtiere with sweet chili sauce made with chillies from my garden
If I could eat anywhere I would go home and invite my friends
My favorite berry is: cranberry
If I could eat only one thing it would be (one meal): Fresh Bread (sour dough), Normandy butter,  charcuterie and maybe some brie.
Food makes me feel: warm and fuzzy
If I were a wild animal in a team environment, I would be : some sort of bull, monkey hybrid. A stubborn, hard working trickster.
An important thing Ive learned is: Great things take time.
Water is groovy yes
The strangest thing I ever cooked/prepared was: Roasted butternut squash with sambuca
The strangest thing I ever ate was: everything the dutch make, example, white asparagus with cornstarch sauce…
I general like early mornings
I can hold my breath for 0.00000361 seconds
Sunday afternoons are best spent: Baking bread, drinking whiskey and napping
I firmly believe that well done is no longer an option
My favorite kitchen tool is: My new 36″ gas range
If I were a cheese, I would be: Stilton, I get along with nuts and apples
Sometimes I cant help: eating far too much
I feel there should not be a word that rhymes with orange
When I dance I look like: a telephone pole
If I could have an old fashion pen-pal, it would be difficult.
I like math
I will not eat: I’ll try everything twice.
